bi1pwkBecause I only have the bh3wtw version of the adapter, and not your version, I can only test and evaluate based on the equipment I currently have.
1. After my testing, the antenna adapter has a 10 cm distance reserved for the fan position, which does not affect the intake of the power supply fan (I tested using an ft891 (hf100w) and ft857 (uv20w) transmitting at full power simultaneously, and found that the power supply fan's speed increased instantly during transmission. The actual test results showed no significant impact on the fan intake). Regarding the copper foil current issue, the author has already clearly stated that it will be fixed in subsequent versions.
2. The right-bottom 3x1 vertical insertion interface in this version is, in my opinion, more aesthetically pleasing than the left-bottom 3x1 parallel insertion interface you have (specifically because, from a design perspective, your left-bottom 3 ports appear somewhat out of place, and after plugging in the power cord, the desktop could become very cluttered). To be honest, your adapter board currently has the smallest volume. Perhaps you are considering the issue of placing the power supply as close to the wall as possible, but the position of the 220 plug on the "Qing Jing" power supply means that it cannot be placed against the wall. Since it cannot be placed against the wall, I believe that parallel insertion is not very meaningful.
3. The version you designed, with three connectors on the left and one on the right, as I see in the diagram, will affect the use of the rotary connection terminals of the original "求精" power supply. You and everyone else can't possibly replace all your equipment with XT60 connectors, (such as the Yangquan version of ATU-100, and some other small appliances like plug-in wavemeters or power meters), in the BH3WTW design with three connectors on the right and one below, the original "求精" connection terminals will not affect use, and the lower 1 port on the connector board is for low-power appliances, using screw connections. This design can well meet the needs of most people. Based on my current setup, I connect the FT857 to an XT60 connector, the ATU-100 to a connection terminal, without any interference.
As a spinner, I've found that both of these excellent spinners have brought out the best in my own setup. While each has its strengths and weaknesses, I hope that both of you can continue to develop new versions and solutions to fill the gap in the market and provide even more value for all of us "ham" enthusiasts.
