Are you located in area 7? If, like me, there are no local hams, you could try using a repeater on the highest hill nearby. I recently went to the highest point in our area, which is at an altitude of 914 meters, and used a BaoFeng UV5RH PRO+ with a Diamond SRJ77 antenna to contact a repeater located approximately 7-80 kilometers away in the city center. I believe that reaching it should be possible within 120-150 km, but I'll need to test it further. You can also try this. I didn't try the original antenna at the time.
