既然考了B证，还有了K6，你要做的就是攒钱，其他UV段的机器都是在耽误你入短波坑

This radio is sufficient for FT8, and the antenna is very important. The 6100 allows you to obtain a local license with an internal antenna adjustment; carrying this along with a backpack is ideal for field use.
If you want to increase the power output, you could get a power amplifier.

Purchasing high-power equipment also requires obtaining a national license, which takes a long time. Also, it seems difficult to set up operations from outside the region if you don't have experience doing so locally.

Let's start with the XieGu X6100 first. It has a 10W power output, which should be sufficient for playing FT8. You can also add a 5-meter long wire antenna to achieve natural resonance at frequencies above 14 MHz. A small antenna analyzer like the Nano VNA would also be helpful for tuning the antenna. If possible, adding a 20-meter end-fed antenna would be even better.
The mobile phone isn't necessary; you can also use a computer to play FT8. If you buy a new 12V battery and other equipment, the total cost (excluding the computer) could be over 4000 yuan.
Alternatively, you could buy a DSE PL-330 or PL-368 first and use it for monitoring. Wait until you have saved enough money before buying another one. I don't recommend buying a cheaper option just to save money, as this will ultimately cost you more in the long run.
If your budget allows, you can buy the FT-891. It's a solid 100W radio and costs less than 5000 yuan. The remaining money can be used to purchase other parts like a power supply.
Be sure to set aside enough budget for purchasing parts.

Ugh, I find it really difficult to get started.
We're pretty much the same. After getting my license, I bought a handheld radio (the 8800), but it was difficult to use because of the location at home and even connecting with repeaters was challenging. Now that I have my B license, I don't know what to do.
I know I need to get a shortwave radio, and I was thinking about just using it in the car. But I saw that most people recommend getting one with a power output of 100W, but now I'm having trouble finding one that meets those requirements. It's really difficult.
