RSP1A的配套软件必须windows系统，不适配安卓系统。我在海鲜市场找到了Windows surface平板。根据在友站哈罗CQ上搜寻配套软件要求提高surface pro 3可能只能2M的频率范围，再增加就卡了。 surface pro 3 i5是双核4线程，CPU频率为1.9-2.9GHz。核显GPUIntel® HD Graphics 4400。我尝试购买surface pro 5 i7 带散热风扇版本8G内存+256G硬盘，单平板782g，加上配套的键盘310g，一共约1100g。i7 6650U为双核4线程，频率为2.5-4.0GHz，核显Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics 640。估计RSP1A使用10M的动态频率范围应该不卡。在海鲜市场600元淘到一个电池损耗才7%的surface pro 5 i7版本。果断付款下单，平板已经快递在半路了，卖家是个奇葩，自己截停我的快递。谎称发错快递，让我退款，我说发错快递不影响你重新把平板快递给我。连续几天联系卖家都不回复，就此失联。我无奈几天后申请退款。我估计卖家是觉得卖给我的价格低了，毁单了。快递送回卖家的同一天，他果断主动屏蔽我。我无法给他发送消息。我再看他的店铺，再次上架这个surface pro 5 i7版本，标价改到了750左右，但是不久就自行下架。搞不懂这是什么骚操作。surface pro 5 i7版本太少，而且价格高。改寻找surface pro 5 i5版本(都不带风扇)，I5 7300U 是2.6-3.5GHz，核显是Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics 620，据说核显性能是640的一半。这次花了500元购得surface pro 5 LET(可插电话卡) i5版本8G内存+256G硬盘，触屏功能坏，显示屏无裂痕，带原装键盘，充电器和电脑包，电池损耗8%。这个电脑带windows 10 25版本，听说surface pro更新windows版本后耗点快，开机试机及安装RSP1A配套软件等操作使用82%降低到75%，也就坚持了20多分钟。估计满电一般轻度使用可以3-4小时。使用RSP1A在2M动态频谱无压力，10M有些卡，一直退到7M勉强，6M比较合适。查看CPU占用25%，内存占用4.5-5.1G。个人估计出现卡顿可能跟GPU有关。可惜没有购买到surface pro 5 i7版本。使用德生5米的软天线（离地1.5-0.5米高度）在14.270上收听单边带效果与德生PL330原装拉杆天线效果差不多。总结：本次surface pro 5 LET i5 7300 8+256使用windows 10 25年版本，耗电快，RSP1A动态频谱最大6M。

这个windows平板+RSP1A方案就是我想到的平替孔雀石收音机方案。毕竟孔雀石收音机的彩屏干扰造成的干扰及假信号一言难尽。windows平板+RSP1A方案结合SDR切换器就可以给FT-891加上更好看的动态频谱了。只是选择哪个widows平板比较合适有待探讨。surface pro5焊死了内存和硬盘，没有拆修经验的听说拆开显示屏必坏。surface pro4是闪频严重。surface pro6的显卡与surface pro5一样是620，反而surface pro5 i7版本的显卡640更好，就是海鲜市场量少，且大多数电池健康度不行，上到surface pro7可能性价比不高。不知道是否有人尝试过小米5平板改windows系统是否可以使用RSP1A配套软件。

Today is the CQWW CW competition.
I tested two laptops using the ThrottleStop software.
Surface Pro 5, i5 7300U, 8+256GB storage. CPU frequency range: 2.6-3.5GHz. When throttling is activated, the CPU frequency remains at 3.4-3.5GHz. RSP1A can use dynamic spectrum of 10M throughout and amplify FM, AM, USB, LSB, and CW signals without any issues.

The other one is a Tbook 10S from Taiyo Computer Technology, released in December 2016, with 4+64GB of storage and both Android and Windows 10 dual systems on a 10.1-inch tablet laptop (priced at RMB 95 on Xianyu, including the original keyboard and charger; the tablet weighs 580g, and adding the keyboard likely makes it around 1100g; the battery can be used for 2-3 hours when fully charged).
The Tbook10S uses Intel's Atom X86 series Z8350 processor, which natively supports Windows 10. CPU frequency: 1.44-1.92 GHz, 4 cores, 4 threads.
It is possible to successfully install and use RSP1A-related software.
The Tbook10S laptop is too old. When checking the CPU frequency in Task Manager, it fluctuates between 0.8-1.6 GHz. Using the ThrottleStop software, the Z8350's CPU frequency remains at a constant 1.67 GHz, and cannot be increased to 1.92 GHz. Entering the BIOS reveals that the CPU frequency is not adjustable.
The CPU frequency of the Z8350 remains at 1.67 GHz, and using a 2M dynamic spectrum to listen to FM results in some stuttering. Listening to AM results in slightly improved stuttering, while USB and LSB stuttering is intermittent. The CW situation is similar to that of single-band reception. If you don't mind these minor issues...
Some other CPUs in the same series that are better than the Z8350 include the Z8500 (used in Xiaomi tablets), and the Z8700.

Unfortunately, the Xiaomi Pad 2 has only 2GB of RAM, which is a major drawback. It's only compatible with MIUI and requires a full system reinstallation if you need to use Windows 10. Adding more RAM might also be necessary. This makes it time-consuming and expensive.
The price of the Z8700 tablet is still relatively high.
Summary:
The Throttlestop software allows the Surface Pro 5 to fully utilize its performance capabilities.
Currently, as long as the CPU frequency can reach and maintain 2.0 GHz, tablets are able to use RSP1A-compatible software smoothly.
Tbook10S should be the most affordable tablet that connects to an RSP1A as a receiver and allows for dynamic spectrum viewing on a computer.

Currently, the RSP1A is significantly more expensive than the Tbook10S. Someone using HAM might be curious about the performance of RTL-SDR with the RSP1A.
I bought two RTL-SDRs for 10 yuan each, including shipping, from the cheapest seafood market I could find. (I also tried to buy the 6-yuan version with free shipping, but it took too long to ship, so I missed out.)
The RTL-SDR can only be used with frequencies above 22 MHz. The FM reception performance is similar to that of the RSP1A, although there may be some slight delays.
A slightly more expensive option includes RTL-SDR for full-band shortwave, which I don't have, but I estimate would perform similarly on the Tbook10S.
Based on the current testing results and the CPU workload monitoring data from the previous Surface Pro 5.
My own conclusion is:
The CPU frequency can reach and maintain 2.0 GHz, allowing for smooth use of the SDRuno software that is compatible with the RSP1A, only on tablets or computers that support Windows 10.

Furthermore, with both A and C ports, it can connect to RSP1A via one port and a mouse via another. Once the battery is replaced, it would be perfect. However, the Surface Pro 5 only has one C port.

BH3XZT While I haven't personally used the ThinkPad X1 Tablet, my research indicates that it uses Intel Core M7 6Y75/Intel Core M5 6Y54/Intel Core M5 6Y57 processors, with a maximum turbo frequency of 3.1GHz/2.7GHz/2.8GHz. Based on my analysis, any processor with a turbo frequency above 2.0GHz should be fine. If you use the ThrottleStop software to fix the CPU's operating frequency, then dynamically adjusting the spectrum from 2-6MHz and amplifying it to its maximum value should not cause any problems.

I have been trying to use the Surface Pro 5 + RSP1A to listen to CQ WW CW and shortwave communication, as well as AM broadcasts. I still feel that using the Throttlestop software to fix the CPU operating frequency is necessary to avoid occasional glitches (above 5MHz dynamic spectrum). The battery health is at 93-94%. I have slightly reduced the screen brightness and only opened the RSP1A companion software and Throttlestop software, using a 2MHz dynamic spectrum and listening with headphones. The listening time consumed 100% of the battery, reducing it to 13% in 3.5 hours.

(This decision was made based on comparing different versions of the Fujitsu Q508, Q509, Q738, Q739, and Q7310 product lines, as well as incorporating the recommendations provided by Deepseek, ultimately selecting the 739 model due to its relatively high value for money, which corresponds to the configuration mentioned above.)
