However, reality delivered a clear message: the dense grid of numbers on my phone screen made me dizzy, and the clerk in front of the computer became a "second-in-command," writing down information first and then transcribing it, which was incredibly inefficient and frustrating. What stung even more was that some people started fabricating records just to comply with registration requirements – this violated the most cherished principle of amateur radio: honesty.
Chapter 2: The Symphony of AI
As a 43-year-old amateur radio enthusiast with no technical skills or programming knowledge, I initially struggled to translate my ideas into reality. However, the emergence of AI has allowed me to do so through verbal communication and collaboration with DeepSeek, Trae, and Qoder – three "invisible partners" – starting from March 2025.
Chapter 3: Starlight in the Browser
On June 28, 2025, the system was officially launched. I built a web-based logging system using PHP and SQLite. The data is no longer scattered between paper and spreadsheets; instead, it quietly resides on the server, like unread telegrams.
With each connection, it only takes a few clicks to record the frequency, call sign, and signal report, which are then accurately recorded as numbers. It is so simple that no tutorial is needed, yet it is professional enough to meet all requirements. More importantly, it makes recording so easy that there is no need to fabricate anything.
Chapter 4: Expanding into the Android World
The journey of technology never stops. When enthusiasts pointed out that "using the computer was inconvenient," I once again discussed it with the AI, and we created a simple Android app to encapsulate the website URL. From then on, whether you were at the top of a mountain or by the sea, as long as you had your phone, you could record every connection in real-time.
Epilogue: An Honest Echo
From March 2025 to June 28, this journey made me realize that the true value of technology lies not in its complexity, but in its ability to protect a genuine heart. Today, my system not only records radio waves, but also captures the authentic footprints of every enthusiast.
