What you mean is that Handi should connect the MIC+ and +5V to each other at the red dot location.
You are concerned that +5V passing through this point might leak back into the DX10's microphone (MIC) interface, causing damage to the machine?
Earlier, I posted about the DX10 microphone amplifier circuit. There is a blocking capacitor C2738 in front of Q2547; this should prevent +5V from entering the internal part of the DX10.
If you're still not satisfied, you can try adding a capacitor at the microphone jack of the KSR machine.
