BG6HFD The most direct experience is with the DX-10, which has a double turntable and buttons arranged around it (the traditional Yaesu way), requiring some adjustment. The FT-710's buttons are all on top, making it very intuitive, unlike previous Yaesu designs. However, this was actually Yaesu's first pure SDR radio, so the difference is understandable. Also, the lights on the FT-710's turntable are quite nice (they can be customized and turned off). Another difference is that the DX-10 has a larger screen, similar to the 7300. While the 710's screen is also 4.3 inches, it's wider and shorter, so it actually feels like the 710's screen is smaller than the 7300's. However, from DX-101 to DX-10 to the 710, the screen resolutions are all the same, and they are all very clear (similar to the 7610), so Yaesu has really gone all out this time. Since SDR radios were already behind ICOM's 7300 by quite a bit, this feels like overdoing it.
