I really like the DNR feature of the 710, and I think it's worth half the price of the machine. The 710 is more like a younger version of the DX10, and both are recommended. It just depends on your specific needs. I used the 710 in the later stages, and the I/O ports at the back were not enough… By the way, the "polar" filter for SDR architecture is really a blessing for SSB CW enthusiasts. As for which menu is more user-friendly between Icom and Yaesu, currently, I find that the 710 and 7610 are very similar, both have secondary menus, so it's not accurate to say that Yaesu's new products have a confusing menu. Of course, early products had dozens or even hundreds of items in the main menu, which can be a nightmare if you don't understand English well. To finish, Yaesu's spectrum definitely has room for improvement…
