BG5CJI This type of setup, where you're directly transmitting an HF signal to Q channel, requires that you change the sampling mode within the software to sample directly from the Q channel.
This method bypasses the tuner, so you lose the ability to adjust the tuner's gain and sensitivity will plummet (it works poorly above 10 MHz, with severe mirroring issues; below 10 MHz, it's essentially useless; and below 1 MHz, it's completely deaf). (As if I don't have one of these myself – its shortwave performance is purely a waste.)
