BG7NOD Strictly speaking, I started with the 710, then the DX10, and finally the 7300. Then, I switched to the 710 first, followed by the DX10. The DX10 wasn't as impressive; it only offered a slight improvement in noise reduction compared to the 7300 (in extreme cases). Furthermore, I added an external monitor, but this was just for displaying the image; nothing more!
The 7300 can handle any SDR costing around 100 yuan. It also has dual-way control and spectrum display capabilities, just like the DX10!
The operation of the Yaesu 7300 is incredibly satisfying. This includes other ICOM radios, but I particularly dislike the setup process for the Yaesu shortwave and VHF/UHF mobile radio. (I am familiar with the common menu names and functions for both shortwave and VHF/UHF mobile radios.) Setting up the radio, as well as using other modes like FT8 and RTTY, is very complicated, unlike ICOM's one-touch operation (especially FT8, which has a direct preset and one-button conversion).
If I were to choose, the worst option on top of the 7300 would be the 101, rather than a DX10 card (which is a higher-level device compared to the 7300).
