2者的价格相差不大，但710是最近才问世的2者之间有点迷糊

很多人说买新不买旧不过实际是还是有不少人买久不买新短波电台的技术不是两年三年甚至也不是5年就有质的突破的所以几年内的设备并不会落后甚至个别同等价位的之前的性能还要好至少经历了考验去年年底我入了7300，710，891，甚至今年入了DX10，说真的如果在710与7300之间我绝对会继续选择7300，否则就直接上DX10了！

我也在这俩上纠结过，不过现在倾向FT-710。 - 次要原因是在许多老外推崇的舍伍德接收性能排行榜上面710排名更靠前（FT-710#4，IC-7300#23）。如果只看射频直采SDR的话，只有已经停产的FlexRadio 6700在FT-710之前。不过要注意这个排行是实验室环境下测得的，并不代表实际使用的情况。 - 主要原因是感觉710前面板更好看😂

也可以这么想，既然论坛里说哪个好的都有，说明无论买到手哪个都不需要担心“买错了”。

我在购买的时候也纠结过这个问题，最后还是选择了7300。原因如下： 1. Yaesu的人机工程着实不咋地。我自己用过FT-5DR，设置菜单一塌糊涂，个人感觉不好用。 2. 710确实是新出的，性能上比7300好一点。但是毕竟7300全球用户量非常大，在网上找教程和视频都很多。配置起来会更方便一些。 3. 原因和第二条差不多，基本上7300有的问题大家都踩过坑了，各种玩法、改装、维修方法都摸得差不多了。自己玩起来门槛也会更低。综上，个人推荐7300。

这两个设备我都有,综合使用下来还是推荐IC7300，设置简单，教程比较全面。频谱显示也比较全

最早用的ICOM7000，全频全模式，后来发觉玩FT8不方便，随即又入了7100，一根线FT8，N1MM,SSTV，对菜单功能也相对熟悉。后来发现作为长期基地台还不够用，还没有频谱。就想着7300，710，DX10之间选择一台，人机交互还得是ICOM，710的外接显示，外接鼠标是新玩意。DX10毋庸置疑万元担当，最后选择了性价比最高的7300做基地台。对我来说便宜实用才是王道。牙医所一天不改菜单逻辑，就计划ICOM玩到底了😁

@"BH8AVW"#p11575 是了，前25名实际上都没啥差距。最后决定性的因素其实还是看表面做的怎么样。比如我是觉得屏幕在左边的设计比较好看，屏幕放中间就和转轮靠的太近了，不好看。像705那样，转轮离屏幕远一点就比较好。不过八重洲的软件UI设计确实不行，给人一种仿佛回到了日式定制功能机时代的时空错乱感。

The technology for shortwave radios doesn't necessarily undergo a major breakthrough every two or three years, or even every five years. Therefore, equipment from several years ago will not be outdated, and in some cases, it may even outperform newer models at the same price point. At the very least, it has been thoroughly tested.

Last year, I bought a 7300, a 710, and an 891. This year, I also got a DX10. To be honest, if I had to choose between the 710 and the 7300, I would definitely go with the 7300. Otherwise, I would just get the DX10!

A secondary reason is that the FT-710 ranks higher (FT-710#4, IC-7300#23) in many popularity rankings favored by foreign users. If you only consider SDRs for direct RF reception, only the discontinued FlexRadio 6700 ranks ahead of the FT-710. However, it's important to note that these rankings are based on laboratory tests and do not necessarily reflect real-world usage.
The main reason was that I preferred the look of the front panel on the 710.😂

In conclusion, I recommend the 7300.

I started with the ICOM-7000, which covered all frequencies and modes. However, I found it inconvenient for operating FT8, so I then purchased the ICOM-7100. With a single antenna, I could operate FT8, N1MM, and SSTV. I was also relatively familiar with the menu functions. Later, I realized that it wasn't sufficient as a long-term base station, and it lacked spectrum monitoring capabilities. So, I considered choosing between the 7300, 710, and DX10. Since ICOM is still the best for human-machine interaction, and the external display and mouse for the 710 are new features, I chose the 7300 as my base station due to its excellent value for money.
For me, practicality and affordability are key. If the dentist's office doesn't change its menu logic every day, I plan to fully utilize my ICOM radio.😁

BH8AVW That's right, the top 25 models are actually very similar. The final deciding factor really comes down to how the surface design looks. For example, I find that the screen on the left side is more aesthetically pleasing, while having the screen in the middle makes it look like the rotating mechanism is too close, which isn't ideal. Something like the 705, where the rotating mechanism is further away from the screen, is preferable.
However, the software UI design of Yaesu is definitely not good; it gives a feeling that you've stepped back in time to the era of Japanese customized feature phones.

I couldn't remember the menu for Yaesu, and it was overwhelming to look at. I originally wanted to choose 891, but a senior member on the forum said that using Yaesu is very frustrating, so I decided to give up.
The 7300 is indeed quite easy to use.

I like using ICOM radios directly. The mixed mode operation of Yaesu is also good. When considering the human-machine interface, the settings on ICOM are much simpler. If you want to use FT8, I recommend the 7300.
