I've had my SMP818 for several years, and I haven't been able to bring myself to sell it. However, I was hesitant to use it with a power adapter because I didn't want to be caught without power when I was out. I discovered that PDD has universal clip chargers, so I decided to make an external C-port charging accessory.
The necessary equipment includes: step-up module, soldering iron, solder wire, multimeter, hot glue gun, and glue sticks.
The reason for using hot glue is that it can be easily removed later using a heat gun if necessary.
I was able to easily find this type of power module online, and I eventually chose this one:

You can charge the battery end with a C port, and also power the high-voltage side after setting it to boost voltage. Once the high-voltage side is set to 8.4V, you can solder it on. This module lights up a red LED when charging, and turns on both red and blue LEDs when fully charged.
First, secure the position in advance and apply hot melt adhesive after welding. Then, use a heat gun to evenly heat the hot melt adhesive until it melts and covers everything uniformly. This completes the process.

The voltage at the positive output side is set to 8.4V, allowing for a slight error in the multimeter reading. The voltage at which the red and blue indicator lights stop charging is 8.37V:
