Dear seniors, I have a question to ask:
I just bought the ZASTONE D9000 app version today, and I'm using the car's cigarette lighter to power it. After installing the device, I tested turning it on and off. Because I was worried that if I turned on the "sentinel mode" after getting out of the car, the device would still be powered on and drain the battery, I specifically tested it by getting out of the car. I found that when in "sentinel mode," the device did not turn on (which relieved me). However, when I unlocked the car and got back in, the device remained off and didn't automatically turn on. In this case, I had to manually press the switch to turn it on. After trying several times, I found that if the car was powered off for one or two minutes before being turned back on, the device would work normally. However, if the car was powered off for several minutes before being turned back on, the device wouldn't automatically turn on and I had to manually power it on.
Background: My car is a pure electric sedan from BYD. The cigarette lighter supports a maximum power of 180W. When parked, pressing the start/stop button in the central console will turn off the vehicle. Using an NFC key to lock the car, and then unlock it, automatically turns the vehicle back on without needing to press that button again.
Additionally, I also set the car's power on automatically in the app. Since I don't have a multimeter, I can't test the voltage of the cigarette lighter; if I could, I would quickly know whether it was the car's cigarette lighter or the car seat that was causing the problem.
Hypothesis: I suspect there might be a problem with the vehicle's chassis itself. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the car's cigarette lighter power supply, because if that were the case, it would consistently fail to start after plugging in the lighter.
Have any of you experienced this issue with the ZASTONE D9000 app version? Does it automatically turn on when power is applied? If the device is installed in the trunk, do I still need to manually press the power button each time I start it up?
