BG5LU I have completed the analysis of the SCU-LAN10 protocol and written a server-side program that is compatible with the SCU-LAN10 protocol. Now, you can use an idle computer instead of Yaesu's hardware box, and on the other side, you can use the official client to remotely control the radio. The spectrum, CAT, control login, RX/TX functions all work normally. In addition, the server-side program is based on the design of FlexRadio, while also supporting rigctl and TCI for remote control of the radio. The original SCU-LAN10 software only supports SSB voice communication, but the current solution allows you to use TX5DR, JTDX, WSJT, N1MM, etc., remotely for digital communication. I will update the details in subsequent posts.
Four years ago, BG6LH wrote in a blog post that "I hope Yaesu will proactively open up software interfaces and provide more opportunities for amateur radio enthusiasts." Although Yaesu has not yet done so, this day has finally arrived.
