RTL V4 uses the R828D tuning chip, which is no longer in production and has reached its end-of-life (EOL). RTL-BLOG now offers a new solution: V4L. V4L uses the R828S chip, which is the first time this chip has been used in an RTL product, so it requires updated drivers. V4L has one fewer filter stage, resulting in higher sensitivity. Overall, the parameters are closer to V3 than V4.
Please note that the R828S is also a discontinued chip, so this model will only be produced in limited quantities. Official sources indicate that the next generation(RTL-V5)It may be necessary to wait until 2027.

The R828S is priced more affordably, and can be purchased on the official website. $37.95 USD The price is already higher than that of used items on the domestic market. Fake V4 is even cheaper.
