Morse Runner can now run natively on macOS!
What is Morse Runner?
Morse Runner is a very well-known name in the amateur radio community. CW Competition Training SimulatorDeveloped by VE3NEA (Alex Shovkoplyas). It uses realistic sound synthesis to simulate a complete competition environment: numerous DX stations calling, QRM/QRN/QSB interference, LID and ghost station effects... allowing you to "play" an entire match at home before the real competition, practicing your copy-taking skills, hand speed, and game rhythm.
For amateur CW enthusiasts, it's essentially a "practice run" before the competition.
Why am I doing this transplant?
The original Morse Runner is Windows program written in Delphi"Mac users have always been unable to use it directly; they can only rely on virtual machines or Wine." Later, the community released the Morse Runner Community Edition.(MPL-2.0), building upon this Swift re-implemented the engine and the interface.— No need for a virtual machine or Wine; it can run natively on macOS after installation.
