From @BH5EIJ I obtained a set of components from the workshop, but upon receiving them, I found some issues. Therefore, I purchased the materials myself to repair them: replacing the BS170, reinforcing certain solder joints, and re-flashing the firmware... This was essentially me implementing my own self-made process.
The machine has been registered under its self-made designation.
On the evening of August 5th, a link test was conducted using a 15m 50-5 coaxial cable connected to a 5.6m GP antenna. The radio's power output was approximately 3W (battery indicated 5W), and FT8 mode was used to establish contact with 10 stations at 14.074MHz.
User experience: The firmware has a "practice mode" that is very useful. It allows you to test the audio VOX trigger before actually transmitting, and then disable the practice mode once all parameters are configured. The received spectrum is relatively clean, with some signals clearly visible. Overall, the performance is much better than expected, and the device is excellent.
Pebble HF provides Gerber files for soldering, BOM tables for parts, and 3D enclosure files. The entire project only requires some SMT components and component soldering. If you have a soldering iron and hot air gun, you can try to assemble it yourself. The filter section requires manual winding of two toroidal cores. Overall, the difficulty is not too high.
