To ensure the proper use of amateur radio frequencies, in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Wireless Telegraphy" (Order No. 672 of the State Council and the Central Military Commission), the "Management Regulations for Amateur Radio Stations" (Order No. 67 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), and the "Beijing Municipal Regulations on the Management of Wireless Telegraphy" (Order No. 318 of the Beijing Municipal People's Government), my department has already coordinated with relevant parties regarding the use of certain amateur radio frequencies. The following clarifies the relevant matters:
According to the "Regulations on Radio Frequency Allocation of the People's Republic of China," the 430-440 MHz frequency band is designated for amateur use as a secondary service. Therefore, the establishment and use of amateur radio stations in this frequency range require necessary frequency coordination. Currently, the 430-440 MHz frequency band has established frequency coordination with the primary business frequencies at 434.5MHz, 439.5MHz, 434.55MHz, 439.55MHz, 434.75MHz, 439.75MHz, 432.8MHz, 438.8MHz, 432.95MHz, 438.45MHz, 438.5MHz, 433.675 and 438.675. Other frequencies are not permitted for use without prior frequency coordination.
Amateur radio stations can only be used for mutual communication, technical research, and self-training, and must operate within the amateur service frequency range. They cannot be used to obtain commercial benefits. When using an amateur radio station for communication, it should not cause harmful interference to major business radio stations assigned or potentially assigned by the relevant authorities; nor should it request protection from interference caused by major business radio stations assigned or potentially assigned by the relevant authorities, or interference from other secondary business radio stations.
I urge all amateur radio enthusiasts to strictly adhere to relevant laws and regulations, in order to jointly promote the healthy development of amateur radio activities in Beijing.
