BI4OAE Muffin The floor lamp I bought previously (3.8 meters long) feels very sturdy and heavy, so I don't want to use it anymore.
Muffin BG5GDP The lamp stand has a 4-meter portable lamp stand, but this week, the metal pipe on the stand was accidentally bent due to pressure. Also, the lamp stand is not particularly portable.
BG5VMD Muffin And it's not just about wanting to build a lightweight, retro-style antenna support for a modern radio; I'm also wondering if it would actually work.
Muffin BG5VMD Hey bro, I'm using this brand's 4-meter folding lamp stand. Today, the after-sales service sent a message saying that two of the aluminum tubes need to be replaced, and one is already broken (costing 35).
BG5VMD Muffin Wow, thanks to those who came before me and learned from their mistakes, it seems that heavy floor lamps are truly impossible to avoid!
Liridice Muffin I'm very interested in this lightweight antenna. Could you tell me what type of antenna you have that has a bent tube?
Muffin BI4OAE It's too long to easily put on the car 😂. That's why I wanted a support rod to hold it up.
Muffin BG5BJM The height can be compromised to allow for a more compact size, which makes it portable and easier to carry.
bg7xwf Personally, I find the 7.3-meter lighting stand to be very comfortable and sturdy. It doesn't feel too heavy, at least not for me, and I'm happy to carry it around and set up wherever I need it.
BH5UNT I used the tripod I bought previously for my telescope, along with three sections of Lenco rods (the type used for high-voltage switching). These can be assembled as needed.
BH3XZT Is it a "right-hand" or "left-hand" rod, and if it's a right-hand rod, does it require a rod holder? If it's a left-hand rod, could you try using a fishing pole instead?
Muffin Liridice It's likely that the antenna itself, rather than the pipe, is what bent. It probably happened due to wind or stress during installation. The resulting bend doesn't seem very durable.
