Two drawer slides, V-shaped
The first one was set up for a long time, but it withstood the strong winds, but not the heavy rain. One night, I woke up and found that the antenna had disappeared, and when I went downstairs, all that remained were fragments. After closer inspection, I discovered that the inside of the hollow antenna was filled with rainwater, which was heavy, causing it to shake and crack, resulting in the loss of two support rods.
The second image shows the antenna, which was set up on a tripod in a corner of the schoolyard. The bricks used to stabilize the tripod had fallen away, and after a gust of wind, the antenna fell to the ground, with one handle broken off.
However, when operating the radio without a vehicle, I always bring a plastic bag that can be used to temporarily cover the antenna in case of sudden heavy rain to prevent water from entering.
