National Research Council of Canada（NRC）Announced that its shortwave time signal station, CHU, will cease broadcasting at Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).（UTC）June 22, 2026, 00:00 – Transmission will officially cease. This means that the signal, which began in 1929 and lasted for 97 years, is about to become a thing of the past.
