FT8 is used by jtdx for automatic uploads to LotW.
First, participate in the N1MM competition, then submit the results on LOTW.
Use a regular pen and paper, and then transmit the data once every day or two via LOTW.
Finally, all logs from lotw were synchronized to the QRZ.com logbook. I primarily use the QRZ logbook for managing my logs.
