Previously, I designed an installation piece to mount a 10-element U-shaped Yagi antenna on the lamp stand. However, at that time, it was made using photopolymer printing. Now, I am migrating to FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing for model making. The design uses a "horse card" (likely referring to a QSL card or similar flat piece of material) in conjunction with screws and nuts to secure the Yagi antenna. A 1/4-inch nut is used along with a ball joint to mount it on the lamp stand. Alternatively, you can download a SolidWorks file and design a more secure installation accessory based on the dimensions. The printed part has four additional mounting positions in addition to the central ball joint mounting position, which are reserved for use. There are triangular arrows on the printed part, and the direction of the arrow indicates the orientation for installing the main beam.

The nuts are used with a clearance fit. It may be difficult to install manually, but you can use an M8 screw and nut combination, along with a hammer, to tap the nut into place. The surface of the nut should be flush with the printed part's surface. A 1/4 inch nut can be made using an M8 screw and an M8 nut to create a tapping block for installation.
Note! Not recommended for permanent installation; only suitable for temporary installations such as field installations.
