BI7AED I'm trying to decide between the IC-7300 MK2 and the FTX-1C. Both offer shortwave capabilities, but the FTX-1C seems like a more complete solution out of the box. However, I've also heard that the IC-7300 MK2 offers better performance in the shortwave band. Can someone with more experience help me analyze the pros and cons?
IL-1 Don't buy FTX1 now, don't buy it. It's currently an unfinished product 😅, and its stability is very poor. The front end has severe heat issues during standby. If you want to buy it, wait two years and see if Yaesu releases FTX1A.
BG7NOD IL-1 To be honest, I have a Hongke DM9100 UV lamp, which has only one head. It's still very hot even when it's turned off.😂
IL-1 FTX1 I just bought it, and after using it, I suggest waiting another two years to see how it performs 😅
