I'm about to get my B license, so I'm looking for recommendations on the most affordable shortwave radio.

These are older models, such as the FT80C and TKM707, and you can often find them for a bargain price of around $500.

XieGu G106c – unfortunately, it doesn't include a VFO or CW decoder.

I thought you were a new B driver, and I could get my G90N license for the new B category.

Consider the 891; although it's not cheap, it has a high resale value.

BD7PCO I already bought the G90N upstairs, and I've been using it excessively.
