The business radio team, AMSAT-DL Association, successfully conducted an EVE (Earth-Venus-Earth) communication experiment in 2009 using the 20-meter radio telescope at the German Astronomical Observatory in Bonn. The Dutch amateur radio and astronomy society, CAMRAS, successfully repeated the experiment of reflecting radio signals on Venus's surface using the Netherlands Deep Space Telescope on March 22, 2025.
