The W5YI-VEC China exam group's fourth exam in 2023 was successfully completed.

Keep it up!

BH2VQG

I messed up; I only managed to pass T and G, and I just don't have time to study E.😭

BI6LVP

BH2VQG Amazing👍🏻I don't understand any of it.

Congratulations!

BI6LVP Actually, you don't necessarily need to understand everything; focusing on key terms is also a good approach.

BI4IVE

This year's lineup includes 12 teachers and 11 examinees.

BI6LVP

pjwbb That's exactly my plan.

BG8KUQ

What's the point of doing this? Is it to set up something in the US?😜

BA1AJ

After the US Christmas holiday on December 25th, the FCC began operations. Students who passed the exam on December 23rd have陆续 received payment notifications from the FCC. Students who have upgraded their licenses can now find their new licenses in the ULS database.

I only saw the information about the exam time slots the night before at 11 PM, so I rushed to study and register. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the exam venue on the second day no matter what I did. I am very disappointed and hope to be able to participate in future exams.

BI1ODV

Absolutely amazing!

BA1AJ

One candidate is still awaiting their certificate due to a timing issue with payment, while all other candidates have already received theirs.

sparrowhe

In fact, you could try setting up online remote exams. I believe that a VE Team that can provide Chinese services and also conduct remote exams would be very popular with domestic ham radio operators. Furthermore, the related support is already quite complete. W5YI has also conducted several online exams.

BA1AJ

sparrowhe It's a good thing to offer remote proctoring. However, this is sensitive in China. Not only would it affect the exam administration team, but also any friends who have taken exams since 2009 could be implicated. This risk cannot be taken.

BA1AJ

BI6LVP

BA1AJ Providing services in Chinese will also be beneficial.
