想在家楼顶上搭短波天线，选GP还是正V好？楼顶环境rt

推荐正v，底噪要低。昨晚刚用灯架和两个拉杆做了个正V，等今晚拿楼顶去试试，做个和端馈、gp的底噪对比

Recommend a clean signal with low noise floor.
Last night, I just set up a V-shaped microphone stand with two boom arms and tested it. I'll try it out tonight and compare the results with using an end-fed antenna and a GP antenna.

If you can use an eight-element Yagi, then do so; otherwise, use a dipole. The choice primarily depends on your installation conditions.

BA4TVY The charging station for electric vehicles is also located downstairs. The 20-meter J-band feeder between the two floors provides a good S9 noise level, and FT8 communication works well. I haven't been able to clearly hear voice communications very often.

BA4TVY I took some time during midday to go home and test it. The S5 on the bottom had a low-frequency noise, and the S4 on the handle also had low-frequency noise. I also heard a connection from a friend's radio station in Beijing's Fengtai district (14270).
I'm not sure why the noise floor on the USB input side has decreased so much. I haven't used the radio for a long time, but I remember it being significantly higher than this. 😂

BD3OZV I'm also really struggling, so it seems like the best option is to use the V750 upright.
