"Radio Station License," previously a small booklet. Starting last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and some provinces began issuing large-format "Radio Station License" booklets, approximately A4 size. Moving from the small booklet to the larger format made it inconvenient to carry in pockets, so I suggested to MIIT that it be digitized. Below is the response I received from MIIT via text message:
[Ministry of Industry and Information Technology] Hello, this is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 12381 hotline. We have received your previous complaint and are providing you with the following response:
Hello, thank you for calling.
Thank you for your suggestions regarding the format of amateur radio licenses. The "Administrative Measures for Amateur Radio Stations" (No. 67 Decree of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) clearly specifies the information that must be included on amateur radio station licenses. Due to the limited information provided on older license formats, in order to facilitate management, all amateur radio licenses are issued with a standardized format. Furthermore, our department encourages provincial, autonomous region, and municipal radio management agencies to issue electronic amateur radio licenses that comply with the "Electronic Signature Law of the People's Republic of China." Electronic licenses that meet the requirements of this law have the same legal effect as their corresponding paper-based licenses.
Thank you for your support of our department's work.
