On December 18, 2023, at 18:15 Beijing time, the amateur satellite Clark sat-1, with callsign JS1YLT, was deployed from the International Space Station. The downlink frequency coordinated by IARU is 435.130 MHz.
Clark sat-1 是一颗 1U 立方星，是日本 Clark Memorial 国际高中学生的一个教育项目。截至 11 月 30 日，大约有 50 名学生参与了该项目，其中一些学生拥有业余无线电执照。
This satellite has two main tasks:
1. Optical camera mission, planned to capture images of Earth and transmit them at a frequency of 435.130 MHz using GMSK at 4800 bps. The transmission plan for the images will be published on the website.
2. Digi-Talker tasks: These are pre-recorded audio files, including voice and SSTV in the Robot 36 format, containing callsigns and school names. The length is between 40 and 120 seconds, using NBFM mode.
In addition to the 4k8 AX.25 GMSK telemetry and mission data, a CW beacon is transmitted every two minutes.
Through these activities, students will be able to improve their amateur radio and satellite communication skills. This project will also serve as a model for the younger generation in developing amateur satellites, and inspire young people's interest in amateur radio and satellites.
