Not long ago, I published... Community Amendment Strategy Explanation
Unexpectedly, third-party plugins within the Flarum community,flarum-daily-check-in It is not suitable for use as a corrective measure.
First, I would like to thank the original author for their work. However, this plugin is not well-suited for creating a community check-in feature. The reason is that it does not provide detailed check-in data, limited functionality for querying missed check-ins, and only records the last check-in time.
Due to various reasons, the community experienced abnormal access during the period of 2026-01-10 ~ 2026-01-12. After the re-authentication, code was not executed promptly for users who failed the re-authentication, resulting in data overwriting. Furthermore, prior to this incident, there was no code review performed on third-party plugins that were introduced, which led to these issues.
To our supportive community members, please accept our sincere apologies!
Considering the stability of this feature and the fairness of sign-in data, after evaluation, we have decided to clear all user sign-in data. This measure only affects the number of days signed in, without affecting existing data such as CQ coins.
The community has currently added functional enhancements and partially refactored the plugin. The data clearing will take effect from 2026-01-24.
Thank you for your support.
