Since I got my amateur radio license in late 2025, I've been using it almost every day. However, I've noticed that the propagation conditions in the V-band (location: Shanghai) vary greatly depending on the weather, sometimes even changing significantly within a single day. For example, at ground level with a long wire antenna, I can achieve smooth communication with the repeater at 58 MHz. But tonight, with the temperature at 2°C and polluted air, I'm standing on the 5th-floor balcony using a Diamond 770 antenna, and I can barely reach the repeater. Can anyone share their experiences and insights?
