# Website Update: New CW Listening Practice Feature (CW RX Trainer)

We recently added a new feature to the website: **Online Morse Code Listening Practice**.

The primary purpose is to meet my own and my friends' need for practicing listening comprehension anytime, anywhere through a web interface. Unlike simply memorizing vocabulary, this new module focuses more on simulating the actual experience of communication.

## Key Features

### 1. Simulate a Real Radio Environment
- **QSB (Signal Attenuation):** Introduces a more pronounced and fluctuating attenuation effect, simulating the instability of shortwave propagation. This is no longer a rigid standard tone.
- **Noise (Background Noise):** Allows you to adjust the background noise level and practice distinguishing signals in noisy environments.

### 2. Content that reflects real-world scenarios
- **Simulated QSO Mode:** When enabled, instead of randomly generating meaningless characters, it generates short phrases similar to real QSOs, such as "CQ CQ DE BY1AA K" or "TNX FB QSO 73".
- **China Call Sign Optimization:** A new switch has been added to generate domestic call signs (BA/BD/BG/BY, etc.) at high frequencies, making it easier for users to familiarize themselves with the patterns of domestic communication.
- **Common Q Abbreviations:** Includes a comprehensive library of common Q abbreviations and acronyms, making dictation practice more practical.

### 3. Personalized Settings
- **WPM (Speed):** Adjust transmit speed as desired.
- **Farnsworth (Spacing):** For beginners, increasing the character spacing (Farnsworth) can provide more reaction time while maintaining the rhythm of individual characters.
- **Retro CRT Interface:** I created a user interface in a green CRT style, which looks more appealing. "Radio studio" The atmosphere.

## How to Experience
You can find the "CW Listening Practice" tool directly in the website's toolbar.

Recommendation: Make the colors of the markers and tee box stand out more from the background, so they are easier to distinguish. Currently, they blend in with the background color, making them difficult to see.
