Newcomers, if you're planning to apply for a license, you should be aware that there are several types of communication ranges specified: "national, provincial, and international."
I have two questions that I don't understand.
1. If the license application specifies a communication range of "within the province," does that mean I can only use the radio for communication within the province? Would using the radio to communicate outside the province be considered a violation?
I reviewed the relevant laws and regulations, but I couldn't find any specific answers regarding the communication range for transmitting from a different location.
2. If applying for "provincial and foreign" across provinces, which option should be selected from Table 17 of the national guidelines: the first option, "within the scope of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government," or the second option, "involving two or more provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government, or involving overseas territories"?
I called our local government office to inquire about obtaining a permit, but the person I spoke with didn't seem to understand. So, I'm asking for guidance from experienced individuals. Please provide your insights and advice.
