Tonight, I attempted to monitor the SSDV transmissions for the BY2HIT 30th anniversary event. As soon as I set the SDR frequency, I received a very strong signal. Initially, I was pleased with the strength of the signal, although I had a nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right. However, after repeatedly confirming the receiving frequency, I decided to record it first. But when I waited and looked at the satellite, it had already flown to Australia, and the signal strength hadn't changed at all. This made me realize that something was very wrong. Later, I remembered seeing a post on a foreign forum describing the characteristics of the received signal. When I compared it with the original, I found that they were completely different – not just different, but utterly unrelated. It turned out that the problem was with me.
I'd like to ask everyone involved in this waterfall chart: what signals are represented here, and can we distinguish between primary business activities, secondary or less important activities, or potentially harmful interference (even though it seems that even if there is harmful interference, local authorities may not immediately take strong action)?
