In 2016, the MSK144 (designed for rapid-decaying paths like meteor debris scattering) and QRA64 were also introduced. The QRA64 was also developed for scattering or EME communication purposes.

Additionally, there are FST4/FST4W, designed for long-wave and medium-wave low-level signals with long periods (FST4W is intended for beacon use, and some sub-modes have been derived from it, with a period length of up to 30 seconds/120 seconds/300 seconds).
And two beacon modes: the Echo mode, designed for EME (single-tone CW pulse, to determine antenna direction and gain/link budget), and WSPR (110-second digital message, which is transmitted to other stations worldwide upon reception, allowing you to know where your signal can reach and whether the path is clear).
