我是刚考过的新B，在设台上有些疑惑。请问有没有大佬在四川用100W+的有核准的老电台，比如IC718或者M700Pro这种的老机器，设置15w成功的？是要写承诺书之类的吗？

不如直接给主管部门电话咨询，网上申请的地方应该能找到咨询电话。我之前打电话，他们很清楚的告诉我，只要发射功率能调整到15W以下就没问题

Has anyone successfully set up a 15W transmitter using an older, well-maintained radio like the IC718 or M700Pro at 100W or more?
Is it about writing a commitment letter?

BD8FYI According to my understanding, the only older radios that have a factory output power adjustable to below 15W and are approved for use are the IC-78 and IC-718. The TK707, M700 pro, and FT-80C all have a factory minimum transmit power greater than 15W, which prevents them from being used in new B-band setups.

arwoon Thank you for your reply. I looked up the manuals for the M700Pro and M710, and they are all adjustable to three levels. Indeed, even at the lowest setting, they exceed 15W. So, I won't be considering those two anymore; I will only look at the 718.

Instead, I recommend calling the relevant department directly. The online application should have contact information available. When I called them previously, they clearly explained that as long as the transmission power is adjusted to below 15W, there would be no problem.
