Background
Because an LNB (Low Noise Block downconverter) needs to be used.(F) I conducted tests for receiving 10 GHz signals, and purchased several LNAs. The NJR series, at least, had only the LNA body itself, without a horn, so it could not be used directly.

While configuring the LNB, I came across a paper titled "The Prototype of a Wideband Ku-Band Conical Corrugated Horn Antenna with 3-D Printing Technology" from Yasar University in Turkey. The paper uses a circular corrugated horn antenna operating in the Ku band as an example and investigates the differences between the 3D printing + conductive paint spraying method and actual/simulated results:

In terms of S11 and directivity, it's still acceptable, especially considering how much a genuine, high-quality Ku-band horn antenna costs.
Based on these ideas, we initially experimented with rectangular pyramid speakers made using a combination of 3D printing and conductive paint spraying.



Thanks to BA7LVG's clever idea, a dedicated loudspeaker for community leaders was created!
Follow-up
Since we have the horn, we need to test it. This type of horn requires a waveguide coaxial conversion structure for feeding power. Since all the horns are 3D printed, we can continue exploring the waveguide-to-coaxial conversion. This time, we plan to try using copper foil tape as an alternative to spray-coating with conductive paint. Spray-coating itself requires some spray painting techniques, and the cost of conductive paint is also relatively high, and the flatness after surface spraying is not ideal, requiring a second immersion.
To be able to test the effectiveness of this approach, we will set up a 13 cm bandwidth.(2340M)The wave-to-conversion structure has a smaller volume than 1296M.
Based on the cutoff frequency, we selected the Right-Angle structure consisting of a WR340 rectangular waveguide + N-type probe.
