The formulas you're using for voltage and current cannot be converted to calculate radio transmission power...
I said that a 50W UV insurance policy would be 20A, meaning it wouldn't exceed 20A. However, with 50W, there would definitely be more than 10A.
A 100W HF insurance policy has a limit of 30A, meaning it will not exceed 30A. However, with shortwave, a 100W output is definitely going to exceed 10A.
If you currently have a radio, check if your power supply provides 3.6A when the transmitter is operating at 50W.
If you calculate it that way, then a 100W radio shouldn't exceed 10A either.
So, if that's the case, does that mean a 10A fuse would be sufficient for shortwave?
