Furthermore, this equipment only has encoding and transmitting capabilities at present, without receiving or decoding functionality. If the original poster really wants to experiment with CW, I recommend starting with listening and copying (if they can successfully listen and copy, I believe they should be able to transmit by simply pressing the key). Otherwise, even if there are responses from the other side, the original poster won't be able to copy them.
