I tested the U7V4 Yagi antenna on the roof, successfully opening the Zhenjiang repeater and achieving a range of 150 km.
I told other stations in the group that they could use a mobile unit to activate the Zhenjiang repeater, and then I switched to a Diamond SRJ77, which also worked.
Current test range for opening the repeater: Chongchuan Repeater, Jiangyin Repeater, Jingjiang Repeater – 80 km.

The key factor in Jiangsu province is the relatively flat terrain. If the repeater is slightly elevated, it can cover a very long distance. Adding some height to the handheld radio will further improve coverage.

BH4SKY There shouldn't be a distance issue. Consider the location and antenna gain. What is your QTH located at? A friend in Shanghai tried to connect with me using a 25W+ Yagi antenna, but failed. He even couldn't reach the Shanghai V-band repeater. The transmission characteristics of U-band are different; U-band has better omnidirectional propagation capabilities, while V-band can propagate further in an unobstructed environment.
