Today, I built a GP antenna, but when I tried calling CQ on 14270 during the day, I found that the signal I was transmitting wasn't very good. I would like to get feedback from other enthusiasts on my antenna setup and see if there are any areas where it could be improved.
Here are my antennas:
The top shows a 5.6-meter pull rod, the middle is the insulator, and the bottom indicates the ground anchor location. When installing, four 5m grounding wires are clamped to the outside of the "m" head, forming a cross shape.
The coaxial cable is 6m50-7, and should be easy to solder without any issues. The antenna's VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) meter shows no abnormalities.
Having set up the environment as described above, after changing the address, I found that the other end could receive data, but the signal quality was very poor.
