What do you say? Don't get caught up in all the fancy features; many of them are useless. Instead, see what local HAMs use as references. In my opinion, the UV5R1 from previous generations is good enough, but the higher-end models (3rd generation and above) have become increasingly expensive. Now I think the K5 is really great.

The Bao Fengs are becoming too fancy and pointless; in the past five years, I could still afford a Bao Feng, but now? No way.
In contrast, the K5 and K6 offer significantly better value for money compared to the UV5R series from Baofeng.
Of course, if you want to buy a set costing around $10,000, options like the Sennheiser GT12 and the Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7b are available, but they are quite expensive.
So, if you're just starting out, buying a Qiansheng K5 or K6 is more than enough. You can wait until you're more familiar with the technology before upgrading.
