HEY115 I don't think so. Mine is a UV-5RM, and its performance isn't great; it's not very fun to use.
BG8LGP Just like with the chip and K5, you can use the K5 with its open-source firmware after making a few modifications. The chip for the uv5118plus is also the same, and now they all have the same firmware.
