BG4RI YSF and Wires-X should be two separate systems. I understand that YSF is a network built by enthusiasts who are imitating Wires-X. However, they shouldn't be directly connected.
If you can directly use Wires-X, all it requires is one serial cable and an optional audio cable to connect the device, while also functioning as a hotspot. Furthermore, the cost of making your own serial cable is significantly lower than that of a dedicated hotspot box.
