最近想要在学校里玩DX通信，但本人目前只有A类操作证，因此无法使用短波电台。即使有B类证，短波电台我也买不起，更没有天线等配套设备的支撑能力。因此，只能将目光放在A类证可用的“魔术波段”——也就是6米波段。这个波段的波长不算太长，半波长天线或四分之一波长天线的长度在3米至1.5米之间。目前市面上最便宜的6米波段电台（BOX-6）价格在500元以内，还有较为成熟的验机和上执照的教程。因此，我决定使用自制鱼竿天线加BOX-6电台，以FT8通信模式，实现A类证许可的DX通联。

天线方面，我打算在学校社团内架设。社团位于图书馆三楼（该楼共五层），不打算在楼顶架设天线，原因如下： ① 现在身边没有那么长的馈线； ② 馈线太长会导致信号损耗过高。BOX-6功率为5W，理论上属于QRP通联，无法承受几十米馈线带来的损耗； ③ 楼顶已有完整的防雷装置，如果我在楼顶再架设天线，很可能成为引雷点——这是最主要的原因，毕竟我不想回社团时看到炸毁的电台。基于以上原因，我决定在三楼社团内找一扇窗户架设鱼竿天线。没想到平时在加时没考虑的建筑阻挡问题，到了学校却不得不面对。不过我所处的位置高度也算中等，应该还有希望。

关于电源，BOX-6电台使用12V直流电源。十分幸运的是，在整理我们新的电台基地时，我找到了一个12V 40A的电源——原本是给灯具用的。果然垃圾堆里都是宝藏！如果这个电源用不了，我也准备了一块12V电池，但容量只有4000mAh，因此主要还得依赖固定电源。

关于控制电台的主控端，目前有两个方案： ① 科技社内有一堆废弃的电脑主板和其他零件。虽然在社长和其他社员一次次粗暴丢放和毫不珍惜的行为下，很多主板已遭致命损坏，但如果运气好，或许还能复现我之前的“奇迹”——从垃圾堆里点亮一台能用的电脑； ② 如果没有可用的x86电脑，我还可以使用一块树莓派4B作为控制端，但需要寻找适用于ARM架构、Linux系统下控制BOX-6的上位机软件。考虑到国外很多HAM都是开源爱好者，我猜应该有合适的软件。

关于天线，我又了解到两种新类型：J型天线和EFHW天线。J型天线没仔细研究，但看了EFHW天线的信息后，发现它仅使用单根振子，但需要特殊的EFHW匹配器——简单来说就是一个1:49的巴伦变压器加上电容。目前主要考虑巴伦的制作，这也是最头疼的地方：它需要一个铁氧体磁环。我在网上看到的磁环要么参数不全，要么按AI推荐的型号搜索，价格直接飙到几十元（主要是运费太贵）。目前只在淘宝和闲鱼上搜过，还没试拼多多。实在不行，也可以找参数相近的磁环替代。想起上次听AI建议买了个磁环，到手后才发现孔小到连手指都穿不过去，白买了。EFHW匹配器用的磁环单价三块多，挺便宜，但加上十块钱运费就让人肉疼。珠三角内运费还这么贵，真是抢钱啊！也许哪天我能亲自去线下买点，再挂闲鱼上卖呢？

The Orange Pi might be worth considering; it's relatively inexpensive, but I believe it uses A53 quad-core processors.

BG7MEB Regarding the standard ARM64 ecosystem, regardless of whether you choose a Raspberry Pi, Qualcomm, or Huawei Kunpeng processor, these mainline kernels can run on various distributions and software without significant differences. Just avoid buying domestic chips (except for RK3588), as the source code for many domestic chips is difficult to obtain, and the kernel provided by manufacturers are often older versions developed internally. The mainline kernel is still far off.

The results I tested today, while simultaneously using video streaming encoding and OpenWebRX, achieved complete decoding of all 35 streams within +1 second. Whether this is sufficient depends on your own needs and preferences. I am not suggesting that you use this to engage in long-range combat.

The P-12 system isn't sufficient.
I'm going to try out the Ham radio box, and I don't need FT8 anymore.
The P-4 is also good.
The Piper 5 offers poor value for money compared to a mini PC.

Regarding the issue of using wires (as an antenna resonator), this is a fascinating story. I originally intended to simply purchase wires online, but after receiving the wires, I discovered that they were actually aluminum-coated copper – which was quite frustrating. Then, I thought: Since I'm going to be rummaging through electronic waste for parts, why not also look for usable wires? And indeed, I found several three-core power cables among the discarded items. An idea struck me: Could these power cable cores be used as resonators? So, I tried using wire strippers to strip the power cables, but the outer shell was too hard, and even multi-function strippers couldn't cut through it. I also tried tearing it apart by hand, but I couldn't pull it out. Finally, in a flash of inspiration: Since I can't pull it out by hand, I'll use all my strength! I tied one end of the wire to my foot and the other end securely to a beam in the building, then pulled hard outwards. And sure enough, with the power of my body, I was finally able to successfully extract the core from the outer shell – tying it to my foot made it much easier.
