I've always wanted to use a linear star, but linear stars are difficult to operate with just one hand like an F-star, so I've been considering buying a mount. However, because I can't install it permanently, I can only consider portable options.
The initial idea was to purchase, considering options like the 301 and 3040 gimbals. However, these were mostly too heavy, and some required low-voltage AC power along with an external decoding board, making them less portable.
Later, through a chance encounter, I came across the DTrac app. The website (dtrac.cn) had a detailed brochure for the DTrac Rotor portable mount system.

Based on the information provided on the DTrac website, I attempted to replicate it myself. The original DTrac Rotor used an ESP12e module to control the entire system, but since I am not very familiar with ESP modules, I replaced it with a more familiar STM32 microcontroller. This resulted in the need for an external communication module to communicate with the DTrac app, which is easily solved.
The replication is now mostly complete, and it can at least function normally for tracking. However, there are still a few minor issues, and I don't have much free time to fix them, so I will address them gradually.
