Take it apart and have a look; the panel has two terminals, but there should only be one ground wire running through it. There won't be an antenna at the top.

I just noticed that this panel has a label that says "Exclusive to Shanghai Television".

It turns out to be the TV antenna connector, used for connecting a television to an antenna or cable TV network. I also have a cable at home with this type of connector, and it's labeled with a 75Ω impedance. I wonder if this cable will have any other uses in the future...

BD1EIS It's likely that panels like the ones in my diagram are no longer functional; they have probably deteriorated over time and either have damaged insulation causing leakage or have been chewed through by rodents. If the internal wiring is intact, then it could be worth investigating further.
