Therefore, the repeater transmits Morse code using FM. If you listen to a BPM (Base Station Mode) beacon, you will hear a continuous carrier signal. When listening with CW, it will sound like a continuous tone. With AM (Amplitude Modulation), you will hear a "tick-tock" sound every second, corresponding to the BPM pattern (-···/·--·/--).
