(A summary of a contest similar to casual chatting) This was one of the few contests where using a callsign (BI1TMQ) was allowed, although last time I didn't even finish seeing all the QSOs. There's also the WAPC CW contest this weekend, but since I'm not very good at contesting and my listening skills are limited, I chose to participate in an OC DX SSB contest that coincides with the WAPC schedule. This is a relatively niche contest, and not many people from BY participate. Although I can only contact OC stations, VK, YB, and DU also have active stations. Since the Tongzhou base was unmanned on Saturday, I could only manage to make a few contacts in the remaining two hours on Sunday afternoon. Communication during National Day wasn't very good, so I chose to operate on the 15m band for single-band operation, which gave me limited time, so I prioritized sweeping the bands first, and then moved on to the more difficult task of contacting larger stations. A common problem was that I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me; their callsign had to be repeated multiple times before they could correctly copy it, "Tango" was often mistaken for "Echo," and "Tokyo" was sometimes mistaken for "Hotel." Also, if we didn't exchange signals at all, my callsign wouldn't appear in the N1MM check. After the contest, I chatted with some friendly stations in Beijing, and they said that the 15m band communication on the first day was good, but the communication on the second day wasn't as good. In total, over two hours, I managed to complete 40 QSOs (including two non-OC stations that contacted me without following the rules, which didn't count towards my score), with a prefix of 29 and a total of 2204 points.
I was a little disappointed that I didn't fully participate in the competition. My original goal was to try and get as close as possible to BY's 15M LP record using a full 24-hour stream, but unfortunately, time wasn't enough. This competition also served as an opportunity to gain some experience for future years when my performance would gradually decline.
